The Beginning of our Forever

Like most, my life has had ups and downs....on August 26, 2012 I married an amazing man, and those ups and downs don't mean a thing anymore.

The ups and downs have also been washed away by the blood of Christ who has blessed me with an amazing daughter to start, followed by reuniting with an old friend, now called my husband, followed by his daughter now to me, as my own daughter.

We sometimes take for granted the things that have been presented to us, I'm guilty of that, but know that God has always had a plan for me.

I can honestly say that I have an amazing family, and now new family through marriage, and new family in friends,  They say true friends are family members we choose. I must say our circle of friends are an amazing bunch, we encourage each other in times of strengths and weaknesses.  I know they have my back as I do theirs.  Our intentions for each other are genuine and most importantly we pray together, and prayer, well, is KEY!!

Mark 11:24  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours

Our journey as husband and wife began on August 26, 2012.  Prior to that very moment, we had an amazing ceremony, our vows to each other, our vows to our daughters followed by our communion together as a family and the the cord of three strands ceremony celebrating God's miraculous joining of husband, wife and God. As the Bible teaches us, it is not the husband or the wife "tying the knot", but rather God; it's God's knot!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12  Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

We celebrated after with our family and friends, and I couldn't be happier sharing our moment with them.

The next day we honeymooned in Costa Rica.....WOW!!!! That's another blog in itself....soon to be posted followed by pictures.

We are back home now beginning our journey together as ONE!

I will be starting a new job on 9/10/12....New Life New Beginnings!!!
